 BACKGROUND

  • Graduate - Ohio State University, 1973 Communications/Journalism.
  • Broadcasting/communications industry 1970-1990.
  • City of Columbus: 1990 – present:
    • Public Information Officer - Development Dept.
    • Communications/Safety Manager – Dept. of Building & Zoning Svcs.
  • Served on 2011 CWA/CMAGE Collective Bargaining Agreement Negotiations Team.
  • Currently serving as CWA/CMAGE department representative.

CAMPAIGN PLATFORM

  • improve communication to membership by publishing quarterly newsletters.
  •  establish a public relations/communications committee.
  •  enhance union website.
  • promote events that unify membership.

Linda S. King

 Office Assistant III with DPU/DOPW-Power, Engineering Section for 15-1/2 years.

1971 graduate of South High School and have attended Franklin University, Columbus State and DeVry.

Have a strong union background with parents who were very active, along with my cousin, Warren Jennings, a past president of AFSCME.

I bring to the table integrity, dedication, honesty, organizational skills and a strong desire to bring back pride in being a member of CWA/CMAGE.

Susan Wilson

Susan Wilson is an HR Analyst and Training Program Manager for Public Utilities. She provides citywide training for performance appraisal and works with NMA, OAWWA Diversity Committee, and the Operators Training Committee of Ohio (OTCO).  Susan won the OWEA W.D. Sheets Award for the Southeast District in 2010 and has earned the designation of “Certified Manager”, is certified with Franklin Covey, and possesses a BS in Biology and an EMBA from Ohio University.
