Local 4502 Wins Wrongful Termination Arbitration

The leadership team of Local 4502 is proud to announce a winning arbitration award just granted to one of our members. The Union stood firm in representing a member who was terminated for what the City felt was "just cause." Financial resource was utilized to hold the City accountable for following proper standards, processes and procedures in thier termination decisions. In this case, our member has been reinstated with full back pay for the time they were off work. This award represents why Union representation is so important. The average member may never need the financial and representative support of our elected officials, but when they do we are ready and able to meet that need.
